Terms & Conditions for Online Fee Payment

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the online fee payment facility of Red Rose Convent School ("School"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not proceed with the payment.

2. Purpose of Payment

The online payment facility is provided solely for payment of school-related fees and charges as communicated by the School.

3. Accuracy of Information

The parent/guardian is responsible for ensuring that all information entered during the payment process, including the student's name, admission number, class, and fee amount, is accurate. The School shall not be responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the payer.

4. Payment Confirmation

A payment shall be considered successful only after:

• The payment gateway confirms the transaction; and
• The amount is successfully credited to the School's designated bank account.

The School reserves the right to verify the transaction before updating the student's fee records.

5. Transaction Charges

Any convenience fee, bank charges, payment gateway charges, taxes, or other applicable charges imposed by the payment service provider shall be borne by the payer unless otherwise specified by the School.

6. Failed or Interrupted Transactions

In case of a failed, interrupted, or pending transaction:

• The amount may be debited from the payer's account but not immediately reflected in the School's records.
• Such transactions are subject to reconciliation with the bank and payment gateway.
• Parents are advised not to make duplicate payments without first verifying the transaction status.

7. Refund Policy

• Fees once paid are generally non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by applicable law or approved by the School management.
• Any approved refund shall be processed through the original mode of payment or as determined by the School.
• Processing of refunds may take a reasonable period depending on banking and payment gateway procedures.

8. Receipt of Payment

Upon successful completion of the transaction, an electronic receipt may be generated. Parents are advised to save or print the receipt for future reference.

9. Security

The School takes reasonable measures to facilitate secure online transactions through authorized payment gateway providers. However, the School shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, hacking, technical malfunction, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

The School shall not be liable for:

• Any loss arising from incorrect information entered by the payer;
• Delay in processing due to banking or payment gateway issues;
• Internet connectivity problems, system failures, or technical disruptions;
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the online payment facility.

11. Privacy

Information collected during the payment process shall be used for fee collection, accounting, administrative purposes, and compliance with applicable legal requirements. The School shall take reasonable care to protect personal information.

12. Changes to Terms

The School reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms shall become effective upon publication on the School's website or payment portal.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to online fee payments shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the location of Red Rose Convent School.
